Wairarapa Satellite now open

We are delighted to partner with Wellington NZ to help deliver our first Satellite in the Wairarapa in 2026.

​We are excited in our 10th year to be piloting a one day STEMM event in the Wairarapa. This event is open to year 11 and 12 female students from the Wellington region. The event is on Thursday 8th October 2026 9.15am - 3pm at Wairarapa Events Centre (Carterton) as part of Carterton Space Week.  

This IYM Satellite event offers a hands-on opportunity to explore careers in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and High Tech Manufacturing). During the day, students will meet local experts working in a variety of STEMM industries and participate in hands-on activities, engaging directly with scientists, engineers, researchers and innovators.

This event could genuinely shape their future. We are excited to share our expert panel;
