In 2026, IYM is offering two amazing opportunities, Online and Residential, designed to help you:
• Discover exciting STEMM career pathways
• Meet inspiring women working in the industry
• Build confidence and new skills
• Make friends and connections across Aotearoa
• Open doors to future opportunities
IYM Online programme | 7–10 April 2026
The Online programme runs during the April school holidays and is open to students from anywhere in New Zealand.
Across four interactive half-days (via Zoom + Google Classroom), you’ll dive into real-world STEMM topics with experts from leading organisations. Topics include:
• Aerospace (Paihau—Robinson Space Team, University of Auckland + NASA)
• Cyber Security (Outfox)
• Artificial Intelligence (Octopus Deploy + Weta FX)
• Digital Wellbeing (Netsafe)
• Q&A Panels (Wellington Medical School + IRANZ)
• Science Communication + Interview Skills
• Coding (Matamoe Hub)
• Plus the IYM Innovation Challenge
