What is a Satellite Event?
Satellites are our NEW short-format STEMM experiences connecting young women with professional, female role models, workplaces and career opportunities.
Available throughout the year, Satellites can range from a two-hour online session to a single day, in-person experience including:

Inside Affinity Medical Imaging - watch the virtual tour
In June 2026, we partnered with Affinity Medical Imaging to give students from across New Zealand an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at a working medical imaging clinic, all from the comfort of home. Students took a virtual tour, gaining insights into careers in X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine imaging.
The session introduced students to a range of career pathways within the profession, as they heard directly from staff who use these technologies every day. This sparked lively Q&A where the panel fielded questions about study options, day-to-day work and what it's really like to build a career in medical imaging.
